Community Support Services, Inc. has provided services to my daughter for more than ten years. The support provided by this agency has been exceptional. Every person on the staff has taken a personal interest in my daughter’s well being, whether her need was mental health, physical health or behavioral issues. She has developed very close relationships with some people on the staff but also knows, as I do, that she can rely on anyone employed at this agency if she needs support.

 

My daughter’s challenges have been numerous. This agency guided her through one of the most difficult periods of her life and helped her eliminate people who were extremely abusive to her. The staff approaches services to individuals in a very personal manner and I have been awed by the innovative tactics this agency has initiated to assist her, and many other clients, through very challenging situations. This agency constantly seeks new approaches, based on the individual client, to assist in improving each client’s life. The progress my daughter has made, and it is substantial, can be directly attributed to the devotion this agency has directed to her.

 

I am also extremely pleased with the activities CSSI provides to their clients. Their Christmas party is fabulous, the summer picnic is tremendous and the various activities (pumpkin carving, bowling, swimming, camping trip and many others) that occur throughout the year are examples how this agency enhances the lives of those they serve.

 

I am a member of the Denver Options’ Human Rights Committee and in that role, have the opportunity to review files of hundreds of adults with developmental disabilities. As I read these files which provide specific information regarding the lives of individuals, I am always grateful that my daughter is served by this agency. In my opinion, Community Support Services, Inc. provides the very best services available to this community.

Community Support Services, Inc. is a well established family oriented organization that measures their success by the progress of their developmentally disabled consumers. They do everything possible to make life better for their consumers and their families.

 

I’ve attended meetings at Community Support Services, Inc. from individual to state level and I am amazed at their impact and specific questions for available assistance for the developmentally disabled consumer. I love their open door and open arm greetings whenever I visit the office.
